Healthy Two-Minute Back to School Breakfasts

I was grocery shopping last week and the advertised "back to school" breakfast foods being promoted made me cringe!  Poptarts, toaster pastries and sugary cereals are quick and kids will eat them, but there are healthier options out there, kids (and adults) will also love.  Here are a few breakfast options that can be ready in two minutes or less. 

  • Kodiak Protein Packed Oatmeal or Better Oats Organic Bare oatmeal (add fruit and cinnamon for flavor; stir in protein powder to make it more filling).
  • Kodiak Crunchy Peanut Butter Granola Bars with a Two Good Smoothie.
  • Fage 2% Greek yogurt with chopped walnuts, blueberries, cinnamon and honey.
  • Egglands Best hard cooked peeled eggs with a banana and string cheese.
  • Siggi's Skry yogurt with high fiber cereal like bran flakes or Kashi.
  • Applegate Chicken & Sage sausage or Jones Chicken Sausage on toasted sprouted grain bread with avocado and spinach.
